Looking for a family friendly resort loaded with amenities but not with the hefty price tag? Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando might just be the perfect choice. This Preferred property is located next to Royal Pacific Resort (and connected via internal walkway to the Royal Pacific Convention Spaces), Sapphire Falls balances top of the line amenities with a more budget friendly offering. This resort has become a favorite of mine.
Here are the five reason why I love about Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.
Number One: Location, location, location
Super Close to the Islands of Adventure side. Sapphire Falls Resort’s proximity to Royal Pacific is a tip off that it will be an ideal location. It is a ten to fifteen minute walk to the park via the Garden Pathway. Gorgeous, well maintained path with awesome views along the way. Perfect for getting steps in or just take in the sights on your way in to the park or a great chance to recap your day heading back to unwind.
Number Two: Water Taxi Access
Not wanting to walk? Sapphire Falls also hosts it own Water Taxi. A perk that was previously only offered at the three Premier Resorts. The Water Taxi will take you from your resort to the heart of CityWalk to go to either Islands of Adeventure, the Universal Studios side or just shop, eat and play at CityWalk, the choices are endless.
Number Three: The Pool!
Sapphire Falls boasts the LARGEST pool of the Universal Orlando Resorts. 16,000 square foot pool that features a water slide, an interactive kids play area, fire pit and my favorite way to spend a non-park day with a cabana rental.
Number Four – Comfortable Rooms
The rooms are cute, functional and most importantly comfortable. For a family of four after a long day at the park they are the perfect size to still be together but not to be right on top of each other. Large enough also to accommodate a roll away if you are a family or travel party of five. There are 1,000 rooms with 83 of those being suites.
Number Five: Food, food and more food
Sapphire Falls won’t let you down! They have four options for you and your family and friends to choose from during your stay.
For quick bites to eat take a visit to The New Dutch Trading Co, a Caribbean themed market place for all your grab and go needs.
Dhrum Club for poolside eats, I can attest their pool side nachos are amazing. Great pool menu with options for the pickiest of eaters while enjoying a little rest pool side.
For full service sit down, Amatista Cookhouse can’t be beat, plus the water views are amazing.
And last but not least, Strong Water Tavern. They serve small plates tapas style. A full service bar and if you are so inclined a Rum Tasting offering for those 21 plus. They also have an outdoor patio overlooking the water as an extra spot to unwind and take in the scenery.
Sapphire Falls truly has something for everyone. Top of the line amenities, features only found at the Premier resorts. A location that can’t be beat and so many options for family fun. What are you waiting for? Message me today to book your own stay at Sapphire Falls. Let’s Getaway!
